Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 17, 2026
DawnWord is a daily Bible reading app. We built it to be simple, and that extends to how we handle your information.
What we collect
DawnWord does not collect personal data. There is no account creation, no login, no email address, and no tracking. All reading progress and preferences are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to us or any third party.
Data stored on your device
The app stores the following information locally on your device only: your reading progress (days completed), notification time preference, text size preference, and subscription status. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Notifications
If you choose to enable daily reminders, the app schedules notifications locally on your device using the operating system's built-in notification system. No notification data is sent to our servers. You can disable notifications at any time in the app's settings.
Subscriptions and payments
Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment information. Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat, a third-party service that communicates with the app stores on our behalf. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID but no personally identifiable information. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Analytics
DawnWord does not use analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels.
Children's privacy
DawnWord does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since the app collects no personal data from any user, no special provisions are necessary.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
