How does DawnWord work?
Each day, you get one short Scripture passage to read. Tap "Done" when you've finished, and your "Days in the Word" counter grows. That's it — two minutes a day.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. All passages are bundled with the app. You can read entirely offline.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your device's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, find DawnWord, and tap Cancel. You can also manage your subscription through the App Store or Google Play Store app.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google. For Apple, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, visit the Google Play Help Center.
What Bible translation does DawnWord use?
The Berean Standard Bible (BSB), a modern public-domain translation that reads between the ESV and NIV in style.
Does DawnWord track my data?
No. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no servers. Everything stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
I missed a day — did I lose my progress?
No! DawnWord counts total days you've read, not consecutive streaks. Missing a day doesn't reset anything.
How do I change my notification time?
Tap the menu icon on the reading screen, then select "Notifications" to adjust your daily reminder time.
How do I change the text size?
Tap the menu icon on the reading screen, then select "Text size" to choose between small, medium, and large.
